Escape Romania to Paying It Forward in North Carolina!

Below the video is Virginia Browns Story that we saw on a paper-towel holder as we ate a delicious lunch. I was pretty down that day as it just didn’t seem like “The Intuition Tour” was going well. I wasn’t finding the stories I thought I would. I was afraid! I almost stayed in my depression and walked away from asking about this interview, because I didn’t have makeup on, I wasn’t feeling happy and who knows what other excuses. As you can see I allowed my essence to take over and Im sure glad I did.

Virginia was running a restaurant and still took the time out to tell us about her dream.

Thank You angel Virginia Brown.

You feed belly’s and souls, and do both with grace, style and love.

Virginia’s Story: I escaped from Romania in 1989. I stayed in Austria until 1991 waiting for immigration to approve the visa for my children and myself to come legally to the United States. When I came to California in 1991 I had two children ages 17 and 15 and $10 in my pocket. I could not speak a word of English. I began taking classes to learn the language and to expand my education to be a good example for my children. In this situation, I was forced to use the public assistance program for a year and a half and I was helped by my friends and the community to get on my feet. One of my dreams then was to pay this forward one day.

In the last 20 years, I have successfully run multiple businesses making a comfortable life for myself and my children and grandchildren. Now it is time for my dream to come true. I realize there are a lot of people in this country who are in need of help. However, I do not know who they all are. This is where I must ask for your help. If you know someone in a hard situation just give us their name and a phone number where we can reach them. If you are able also to make a donation to the cause we will be able to help even more families.

I will then choose a name and invite them here to eat and I will take the time to tell them my story, hopefully inspiring them to keep fighting for their dreams. Then I am confident that they will one day pay it forward again. I would like to be able to help one or two families a day if not more in hopes of touching as many families as possible.

If you would like more information please feel free to give us a call.

  1. I loved hearing Virginia Brown’s poignant story. You have captured a classic example of what made this country great and what will make this country great once again.

Send this story to Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul. Perhaps one of them will be so captivated by the essence of this story that they will be inspired to support Virginia’s dream in any way possible.

Keep up the great work. You have a wonderful mission. Self-reliance, hard work, self-dtermination and holding on to a dream; I love it.

    Your friend,

    Dennis

  2. Below is a comment from one of my dear supporters! These little ripples are getting bigger and closer together! Thanks to everyone who is a positive pebble in this huge pond of life!

I was moved to send Virginia Brown a check to help her feed a family. I really enjoyed that interview. Sounds like even you are having trouble “allowing” the universe to flow through you. But at least you are giving it a go all through your day! It looks like you are enjoying sunshine on your ventures. Know I love reading your newsletter and again admire you for your undertaking! Be safe!

  3. Hi, Barb:

So glad to hear you are “unapologetically, obnoxiously happy” in a new relationship.

Robert Frost wrote published a book called The Aim Was Song, and my student teaching Supervisor gave me the book as a present when my student teaching concluded. The aim of our life should be a song; a beautiful song, even a masterpiece. I am so happy for you that your life has taken flight because you have a special person to share so much with. We should all be able to celebrate the joy of living and giving with someone special.

Someone once said Life is a spiritual problem and your post suggests you are on on a path to discovering more of the profound spiritual solution to life. Just great news. None of us has to be alone or feel alone. Your spirit is a reaching, creating spirit. I am certain your vision will continue to become more clear to you and I believe it will indeed lead to the Abundant Life.

    All the best, always,

    Dennis
